Step 1 -

Step 2 -
Call the appropriate Advocate Agency ; see list for corresponding agencies for each Police Dept.
Step 3 -
Transport all items associated during the sexual assault(toilet paper, sheets, etc.) to the hospital.
Step 4 -
Encourage the victim not to wash anything
Step 5 -
Encourage the victim not to eat or drink anything
Step 6 -
If restroom is necessary, collect urine in a clean container and transport to the hospital ESPECIALLY if there was any altered level of consciousness, and/or drug or alcohol involved
We are a Sexual Assault Response Team (SART) and Domestic Abuse Response Team (DART) facility that reduces wait time and ensures proper evidence collection. Suspect Exams are also available. Exams include evidence collection from the victim, clothing collection, medical/legal exam and forensic photography.
